The Engagement Danielle and I went to visit New York City and Canada in March of 2004. Doug had planned a very special night in Niagara Falls, Canada including a nice hotel suite overlooking the falls and a romantic dinner at the Skylon Tower's revolving restaurant.  The day went perfect.  Danielle was freezing, but it was Canada in March.  We toured the falls area enjoying mother nature's splendor.  We went back to the hotel and got ready for dinner.  I had made all of the arrangements ahead of time from Maui, but I pretended just to set up a quick dinner.  We had a beautiful table at the Skylon Tower's revolving restaurant.  The setting and surrounding view was spectacular and it made the evening that much more enchanting.  For everyone wondering ... yes, I got on one knee and proposed to Danielle in the restaurant.  The ring was hidden in a chocolate desert.            Click here to view the ring
