How We Met People love to ask this question of us both, and the standard answer is "at work", but that just seams to leaved so much unanswered.  Danielle moved to the island last march and I have been here since the Y2K boom in the computer industry ended.  I was recruited by the Grand Wailea Resort to head up their IT department and Danielle was looking for work while she decided on her teaching career. Although Danielle's time at the resort was short, I thank God for the opportunity to meet such a wonderful person.  Before I knew it, she was off teaching First Grade at a school in upcountry Maui, but not before our strong friendship was beginning to become much more. We often got together after work and just sat on the lanai talking about anything and everything until the wee hours of the morning.  Slowly our friendship grew and blossomed and the results are on this website.  What a difference a year makes.
